The twin duo Da Commission are back with a hard hitting single and captivating music video for ‘Spaced Out’. The brothers released the single to generate more interest and awareness for their debut studio LP entitled ‘The God’s Fury’ which is set for release in early February. The video has a movie feel to it as the two rappers are being chased around the beautiful and historical city of Split while ‘Ika’s beat keeps your head nodding throughout the adventure. It was the first time ‘Mon$taa Mic’ tried his hand at directing and thanks co-director and cinematographer Dominik Belančić for helping deliver such quality visuals. DC wanted their fans to see that even with no big budget a group can create thought provoking and interesting material to differentiate themselves from masses. ”We just felt as artists who have been recording music professionally for close to a decade now with countless ups and downs that we owed it to the younger artists to show them it is possible to make something different yourself. The whole video was shot in less than 3 days and has more actors and moving parts than some major videos you see on the big networks. We feel we took it back to the roots of music videos when they were supposed to be a story and showcase of what the lyrics are saying and not just a green screen with heavy blingage” Intricate D (Da Commission). ‘The God’s Fury’ will be on sale on iTunes upon its release and hard copies of the album can be purchased through their website or CD Baby.
